The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences recognized Georgia Southern University’s Multimedia Development Center with four professional Emmy® award nominations and eight student Emmy® award nominations on Saturday.
Ogeechee Technical College recently hosted an Alumni and Graduate Reception at the College’s Natural Resources Building to honor alumni who were nominated for awards, as well as students slated to graduate in May’s commencement.
Twenty-one new members who achieved and maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average, and who received recommendations from their instructors, were inducted into the organization and received their official NTHS portfolios.

“Signing this MOU exemplifies what Georgia Southern should be doing, which is working with the community,” Reiber said.
One of Tattnall County's own teachers has made the top 10 finalist list for the 2020 Teacher of the Year award.
“The event provided our students with a much better insight as to the physical demands of soldiers at Fort Stewart,” said Nancy Henderson, DPT, assistant professor of rehabilitation sciences. “This added knowledge will help them to better tailor their education while working with soldiers.”
