CHS senior Marti Green spent the first part of her spring break learning to fly. Marti is currently taking flying lessons and is aiming to earn her pilot’s license. She took a flight last week to Chattanooga, Tennessee and back and captured some amazing aerial images during her run.
Marti is taking lessons from a pilot at Richard B. Russell Airport in Rome, GA. she flew from Rome to Chattanooga to earn some hours in the cockpit. Marti has been accepted to the Aviation and Aerospace program at Middle Georgia College where she will study Aviation and Aerospace this fall. She plans to become a bush pilot when she graduates.
Marti had her first solo flight Saturday morning before getting ready for prom.
