“Going into the season, we had some concerns about our lack of experience at the varsity level. We knew we had a lot of talented basketball players, but they were young and unproven. To make things more challenging, we had some seniors that were injured when the season began. I couldn’t be any more proud of the effort our young players have shown to this point in the season. They have been put into tough situations in some big games, and they’ve responded very well. We still have a lot of work to do and haven’t even played half of our region games, but the other coaches and I are very encouraged by what we have seen to this point,” said Coach Groce.
The Lady Indians also defeated Gordon Central with a score 47-37.
