From the Douglas County School System:

“Out of an abundance of caution and based upon information received at the 7:00 p.m. National Weather Service webinar, Superintendent Trent North has made the decision to close school on Monday, January 8. All staff, including 240 day employees, should not report to work.

After school activities are also canceled.”

Jonathan Jiles was born and raised in Lithia Springs, Georgia.
