This Thanksgiving, Morningstar Academy PTA Chapter will sponsor a 5K road race and fun run in downtown Brunswick.  Benefitting the school, students and student activities, the Wobble B4U Gobble fun run will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, followed by the 5K race at 8 a.m.  Both will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church, located at 900 Gloucester St., and will lead through historic downtown Brunswick and surrounding neighborhoods.

Participants are asked to register and pick up packets on Wednesday, Nov. 21 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (1400 Norwich St.) or on race day at 6 a.m. at St. Marks Episcopal Church.  An awards ceremony will be held shortly after the races conclude, which will include top prizes for overall/masters male and female winners and age group awards.

Race fees for the 5K and fun run will be $30 and $20, respectively; participants can register at:https://www.qrunningco.com/wb4ug.

Those who aren’t taking part in the races can participate in several fun family activities, which include a best dressed turkey competition and a raffle.
