This past August, Saved by Grace- Glynn  was chosen to be featured on a German Television station for a documentary showcasing the issue of homelessness in America and specifically.

The German news organization contacted Saved by Grace several months ago as they were researching the issue of homelessness in the motel settings.  The issue in Glynn county, Ga resonated with the producers of the documentary project.

“We were chosen by ARD (German Television) to be part of a series they are doing on Poverty in America. So honored to be a part of this project!”  said Donna and Maria- Founders of Saved by Grace- Glynn. The film crew set up production and followed the two throughout the evening as they served the homeless families and individuals that find temporary shelter in the motels throughout Glynn County.

Here is clip of the documentary:

“Maria & I talked about of all the places they could’ve chosen, of all the people they could’ve picked to follow and interview they picked us in little Brunswick. What a blessing to have that international exposure,” Donna said. The organization is making a lasting impact in our community.

Last month the organization gained 103 new clients, fed 118 people and gave away 6 beds.

They also gave away 45 backpacks to children of all ages in Glynn county and supplied 2 schools~ Brunswick Christian Academy & Goodyear the excess supplies & backpacks they received.

If you are looking for ways to help serve Saved by Grace , the organization is currently looking to add computers to their office for clients to come in and apply for jobs. They are also in need of volunteers to help pick up food from KFC & Cheddars weekly.  The volunteer will need to have reliable transportation. Please visit their Facebook page for more information.
